Alta Skiing Info
AltaCam is a website that features information on life and powder skiing in Alta, Utah. Although a little behind on the powder, the skiing is still REAL good. We're nearing a 100-inch base and last season we saw 14 feet in 14 days during March! Don't forget to subscribe to the The Daily POW for the latest. (posted February 9, 2010)

looks like there is another storm brewing.
Quote:
A winter storm watch for late Tuesday thru Wednesday night, could see 12 to 18" of snow by Thursday morning.

Of course Alta won't be running the lifts until friday, but the bird will be open. Nothing better than April face shots.

Daddy.. new message just posted to Alta.com re: skiing this week. Sorry hippie:

"New snow will await our re-opening on Friday - Sunday... Our final weekend of skiing this season. In anticipation of avalanche control work and slope preparation for our re-opening on Friday, Alta will be closed to uphill traffic until we open Friday morning."
