Alta Skiing Info
AltaCam is a website that features information on life and powder skiing in Alta, Utah. Although a little behind on the powder, the skiing is still REAL good. We're nearing a 100-inch base and last season we saw 14 feet in 14 days during March! Don't forget to subscribe to the The Daily POW for the latest. (posted February 9, 2010)

Rumor has it that Marchizzle tore up Gunsight today. If the rumors are true, what's the report Gary?

Yessir. It was real nice. Filled in nicely. Untouched from the top, but there were a bunch of kids coming into GS about half down from 3rds. It was actually pretty loaded on top. I made a few hard ski cuts then dropped in for about 25 spraying face shots..

I skinned up from GMD and I noticed the skin trail split in a Y just past the angle station on collins. Large majority of people were heading up to the shoulder, but I stayed on the left Y to the top of collins.. then put in a high traverse to gunsight entrance proper. The last stretch i booted..

The locals gave me a nice show... While skining up to germ pass I watched people destroy the high shoulder around Bounous' like it was February, and I even saw a handful of people mocking out of main chute. What a treat they had.

All in all, it was the 4th time I used Gunsight as the first run of the season, and this was by far the best 1st run I've ever had.

I just put in my order for another round of powder. I'm ready to ski Eddie's next pre-season storm.

Hello guys!

For most GUNS readers, selecting just the right optical sight pays dividends in the form of a freezer full of tasty venison. But American servicemen overseas are utilizing the latest in electro-optical sights to give them the edge in fierce urban combat. We thought you might enjoy hearing from one of America's young lions.

Thanks a lot guys for accepting me here.....

Sorry Andrea38,

A hit on a search for words like, "Gunsight", "powder", "spraying face shots" normally may be an indication you can sell some gun accessories, especially a website based in Utah.

At Alta our sights are set differently than most.
