Although the weather is suppose to warm up significantly, this past week was HUGE in Little Cottonwood Canyon. Come on up to Alta and enjoy spring skiing on the deepest snowpak in years. Black Diamond's QuickDraw Probes go together with a quick toss and a tug. When the search is on, you can count on the quickdraw probe to get to work without delay.

For the 2007-2008 season, the only thing changed about this probe is its color: from black to gold. The Black Diamond QuickDraw Guide Probe 300 is 3 meters long, has markings every 1 cm, and is equipped with alternating color sections for visibility on the snow and detailed depth readings. All of the tube connectors are chamfered on the outside edge so tubes slip easily over the connectors quickly. The head is sharper than most other probes available, and is also slightly larger than the rest of the probe. This makes penetrating into and retracting from the snow and debris a snap. Black Diamond thought of everything for the Guide Probe so that you don't have to when it comes time to actually use it.
