K2 Pontoon Skis

Product Group: Freeride Skis | Product Added on August 30, 2006, Updated on November 5, 2007

K2 Pontoon Skis - Click Here To Check Price & Availability In 2002, while Shane McConkey was riding for Volant, he invented the Spatula. The Spatula shocked the world with its reverse camber and reverse sidecut and most importantly, its performance in the powder. K2 brought this clever design to their 2006 lineup of skis with the release of the Pontoon, which is unchanged for 2007.

The K2 Pontoon is of massive proportions; 160mm in the tip, 130mm under foot and 120mm in the back. With a surf inspired rocker built into the ski giving it a bowed up tip and tail, the ski rises to the surface in any condition while the skier maintains a centered balance on the ski for maximum control. Although designed specifically for powder, this ski incorporates sidecut into the design where you need it most, right under foot, for maneuverability on firmer conditions or just to get back to the lifts for a second lap.

Suggested Retail Price Of The K2 Pontoon: $1000
