Founded in 1974, Marmot is one of the best-known and respected names in outdoor
clothing and equipment. In 1976, after a meeting with Joe Tanner of W.L. Gore & Assoc., Inc.,
Marmot became one of the first manufacturers to embrace Gore's new fabric at the time: Gore-Tex.
The Ultimate Ski Glove continues in Marmots tradition of excellent construction of the
best fabrics available.
The Marmot Ultimate Ski Glove is a rugged, truly warm glove with a long history of
unmatched performance in the field. The shell is made with Cordura reinforced with
durable, supple, water-resistant Pittards Goatskin and then treated with a breathable
Honeycomb coating. Even if these gloves were immersed in water, the exceptional
PrimaLoft insulation will retain its thermal performance and won't bulk up. A Gore-Tex
XCR insert ensures that water won't penetrate, while a DriClime lining combats moisture
from the inside by wicking perspiration away from sweaty palms. Marmot is so confident
in these gloves that they back them with a lifetime warranty.
