Men's North Face Redpoint Jacket - Click Here To Check Price & Availability When it comes to layering, synthetic insulation is the low-bulk way to go. The North Face makes several synthetic insulation jackets. Our favorites are the Primaloft filled Redpoint line, which is wind & water resistant and layers without bunching.

The North Face Redpoint Jacket is a silky smooth jacket that keeps you warmer than you might expect from just looking at it. Filled with the best synthetic insulation on the market, PrimaLoft, the Redpoint looks and feels fairly thin but keeps you amazingly warm. Treated with DWR, the Redpoint can handle light precipitation. And when you're not wearing the Redpoint, you can stuff the entire jacket inside the left hand pocket and zip it up. The Redpoint Vest gives you all the great attributes of the jacket, without the arms. It packs down even smaller and yet still provides the core warmth you need when the temperature drops. The Redpoint Optimus Jacket takes the regular Redpoint to the next level. The obvious addition is the hood. The Optimus is also equipped with HyVent waterproof coating on the hood, shoulders and top of the arms to prevent water penetration where flakes hit first. The jackets and vests are of course backed by The North Face's lifetime warranty.
