Salomon, originally known for its innovations in ski bindings and then ski boots, is also a
pioneer in ski technology. One of the first manufacturers to embrace monocoque construction,
Salomon has been on the leading edge of performance ski design.
For several years, Salomon's Pocket Rocket skis were considered the "go-to" all around
fat ski. They were forgiving yet lively and just all around fun to ski on. For the 2006
season, Salomon built on the Pocket Rocket's legacy with the introduction of the Salomon
Teneighty Gun alpine ski. Now, for the 2007 season, Salomon has beefed up the Teneighty Gun
creating a big ski with big float and surprising maneuverability. Its plump dimensions of
135/101/126mm are 11 mm wider underfoot than last years guns (122/90/115mm). But don't worry,
when crappy conditions call for blazing around on groomers, you'll still be stoked on the
shape of the Teneighty Guns. And when the powder's flying, you'll be hard pressed to find a more fun ski.
