Yakima calls their racks and gear "Destination Hardware". Their goal is to make the highest quality, most
durable and functional ski and gear racks on the planet. They've been doing it for over 25 years now
and there is no question that they are living up to their mission.
Yakima uses a nice and soft compound rubber that protects your boards
and makes closing the rack easier. The Yakima Lift Ticket 4 holds up to 4 pairs of
skis or 2 snowboards, and the Lift Ticket 6 holds up to 6 pairs of skis or
4 snowboards. The Lift Ticket's feature Yakima's integrated SkiLift for the best
roof-binding clearance available in a ski mount. The Lift Ticket
is easy to load outside the tower or over the side of a factory rack equipped
vehicles. All 3 racks obvisly fit on Yakima's standard crossbars but they will
also mount on your factory rack using Mighty Mounts. Don't forget to order the SKS
lock cores so that you can lock up your boards while your apres skiing.
