AltaCam is a website that features Alta skiing (Why Ski Alta?) discussions, photos and other related content. We're definitely seeing a regression to the mean this season...in terms of our snowpak. Last year we had twice the base for March 1st. Regardless, the skiing has been great and the The Daily POW Video Diary is going off!

Monte Cristo skier Little Cottonwood Canyon
Brian Menzies (skier) and I decided that it was the day. I had been 'eyeing this shot' for a while and knew it had to be taken. Brian able and willing charged out on the extra 20 minute hike from Superior peak to Monte Cristo while I waited and set up for the shot. He dug a little pit, I said a little prayer, he dropped in and I fired away. Enjoy.
