Picture of Alta during my spring break in March of 1971. This is the ski season before Snowbird opened. Sixteen of us from North Park College (now University) in Chicago, IL, rented a place at Merback Lodge ($160/week total, or $10 per person per week!) at Brighton. This picture was taken the first day we skied Alta. Nice view of Superior from the parking lot, also showing some vintage vehicles. -MJ
