AltaCam is a site featuring information about life and powder skiing in Alta, Utah. The madness continues. Although the weather is suppose to warm up significantly, this past week was HUGE in Little Cottonwood Canyon. Come on up to Alta and enjoy spring skiing on the deepest snowpak in years. Scarpa Tornado Pro Alpine Touring Ski Boot

Retail Price: $669.00

Equally at home at the resort or in the backcountry, The Scarpa Men's Tornado Pro Alpine Touring Boot gives those who live for the mountains the versatility to tackle any situation. Want to spend a day in your favorite resort Attach the included super stiff tongue, buckle up these Scarpa boots, step into your alpine bindings, and charge the groomed. The Tornado Pro's Vibram Ride soles won't interfere with your alpine bindings' release mechanism. Scarpa gave the Tornados a lateral cant adjustment system so you can dial in the boot for superior edge hold. When the resort gets tracked out, head for the backcountry. Swap out the stiff tongue for an included softer touring tongue, flip the ski/walk mechanism to tour mode, and make a few laps. With just enough flex in the right places, the Tornado will tour comfortably but rip through crud, powder, or any other type of snow on the way down.
