Alta Skiing Info
AltaCam is a site featuring information about life and powder skiing in Alta, Utah. What a powder-filled year season it was. Still, the LCC locals couldn't get enough. In fact at the time of this posting, Snowbird is STILL open and Alta still has a 100+ inch base! Enjoy the summer months, and see you soon. (posted June 8, 2008)

Movement Skis Freeheel Assymetrical Ski

Retail Price: $649.95

From afar, the Movement Freeheel Asymmetrical Ski may resemble others of its genre, but when you fall in love, its whats inside that countsand theres titanium alloy and exotic hardwood inside this tele sex machine. Contrary to popular belief, the Freeheel Asymmetrical has a regular sidecut. The asymmetry resides in the radical core structure, which bolsters the inside edge of each ski with a sheet of rubber-dampened titanal for dynamite edge grip and tank-busting durability. Even further in, the Freeheels poplar, okume and karuba wood core is profiled along the outside all the way out to the shovel to shave swing weight without reducing surface area. All that engineering translates into a satiny-smooth telemark scalpel that rips groomers to ribbons, burns down the trees, and bounds like a helium-filled antelope through the fluffy stuff.
