Alta Skiing Info
AltaCam is a site featuring information about life and powder skiing in Alta, Utah. What a powder-filled year season it was. Still, the LCC locals couldn't get enough. In fact at the time of this posting, Snowbird is STILL open and Alta still has a 100+ inch base! Enjoy the summer months, and see you soon. (posted June 8, 2008)

G3 Alpinist Climbing Skins

Retail Price: $152.95

When you need skins that are ultra-light and fast-gliding for your hut-to-hut trips and long backcountry tours, look to G3s Alpinist Climbing Skins. Secure connectors pivot to fit over your ski tips and G3s Tail connection system clips onto the tail of your skis, eliminating the weight of other skins fold-over design and the ever-annoying skin that pops off your ski in the middle of a steep switch-back. The high performance Alpinist Climbing Skins plush synthetic fabric gives you a fast glide and great traction, An advanced waterproofing treatment keeps these G3 skins dry and free of wet, clumpy snow, so you can tour through changing climate zones without uninvited snow guests clinging to the bottoms of your skins. These skins are available in four standard lengths and a range of widths, and come with a durable nylon bag. *Short for ski lengths 165-177cm, medium for 174-186cm, long for 183-195cm.
