AltaCam is a site featuring information about life and powder skiing in Alta, Utah. Well it was just announced that Alta is having an early opening this weekend. Lifts will close during the week, and then we're open for good November 21st. 30-inch base as of today. (posted November 12, 2008)

The Swix Performance Liquid Large Kit covers a wide range of temperatures, and goes on your Nordic or alpine skis easily and quickly, without the need for an iron. Start with the base cleaner and the glide, then cork it out and choose the blue grip for colder temps (28F to 5F), or the violet for 32F to 27F temps.
