Although the weather is suppose to warm up significantly, this past week was HUGE in Little Cottonwood Canyon. Come on up to Alta and enjoy spring skiing on the deepest snowpak in years. Elan M999 Wood Alpine Ski

Retail Price: $698.95

Forget the Elan you used to know. This year Elan brings the M999 Alpine Ski; a fat ski that craves the steepest, deepest terrain. Booya. Float the light stuff with a substantial (99mm waist) platform under your boot. The M999's softer flex that allows the tips to stay afloat in the deepest, lightest snow. The first time you get on them you'll be shocked at how fast you're tearing through powder. Instead of straight-lining runs to keep your speed, you'll be able to lay out big carves and tight turns, making the most of a sick snow day. Elan dialed the M999 as a pow ski, but thanks a carbon laminate and ABS sidewalls, it still has the teeth to tear into the corduroy or the crud.
