Alta Skiing Info
AltaCam is a site featuring information about life and powder skiing in Alta, Utah. What a powder-filled year season it was. Still, the LCC locals couldn't get enough. In fact at the time of this posting, Snowbird is STILL open and Alta still has a 100+ inch base! Enjoy the summer months, and see you soon. (posted June 8, 2008)

Mountain Hardwear Phantom 32 Sleeping Bag: 32 Degree Down

Use the Mountain Hardwear Phantom 32 Down Sleeping Bag for a month of summer backpacking in the Rockies or a mid-fall Appalachian Trail trek. The bag weighs just over a pound, helping you pare down the overall weight of your pack, and its 800-fill goose down insulation ensures warmth through three seasons of camping. Mountain Hardwears alpine mummy cut brings the insulation closer to your body without uncomfortable restriction. The company reduced the volume around the head, and added room at the elbows and hips. A down-filled face gasket keeps traps body heat inside the bag.
