Outdoor Research Aurora Bivy

Use the lightweight, waterproof Outdoor Research Aurora Bivy when you travel solo in the backcountry. The Aurora Bivy features Gore-Tex Respiration fabric, a waterproof, windproof, vapor-permeable material that Gore-Tex made for sleep systems. The snow or rain cant get into your bivy, but the moisture from your breath and your perspiration can escape. Outdoor Research gave this bivy mesh netting, so bugs dont bite you after youve gone to bed. Loops on the Aurora let you stake it down or use guy lines to hold it down in high winds. An internal mesh pocket near your head lets you stash small items such as your headlamp or pocket knife. This bivy sack, which has no poles, weighs about 1.5 poundsideal for traveling light.
