The North Face Impact Glove

At first glance, The North Face Impact Glove looks like a trim and tough winter glove, with a Gore-Tex HP insert, nylon shell and pile insulation insidebut the bright orange window on the back hints at something new: d3o protection technology. Weve been very excited with d3os performance in our mountain bike arm and knee guards, so we are equally psyched about this ice climbing/fast alpine assault glove that features the same reactive foam/gel material on the knuckles and fingers. When struck, the soft, flexible d3o pads change their molecular structure, hardening to absorb and disperse the impact across the back of the hand. We arent scientists, but you can take our word for it when we say something works. And this works.
